Creating the life you wish to live

As an organising mentor I can help you to create balance in your life by looking at habits, motivation, stories and strategies.

Together we will look at things that do not work in your home and your life and support change by clearing out, letting go and implementing new systems.

Establishing good habits can create balance and clarity in your life and help you find your own best ways.

“Your house is your body. Your body is your original house”

Earth

Lay your foundation.

Life is filled with routines from morning till evening; Making the bed, doing laundry, putting dishes in the dishwasher before you leave for work, you get the idea. How you approach routines can have a great impact on other areas of your life too. Establishing good habits for daily routines are a bit like a work out, which will give you strength and stamina to carry through bigger projects and changes in your life.

Experience will guide you - Doing things to support yourself

Fire

Spark your motivation.

Fire is life giving but we also need to be able to keep it under control. Our spirit needs room and we also need to be able to balance it with the earthy element of daily routines. If your home is filled with unpacked boxes from your last move or articles you plan to read some day, or piles of video tapes even if you no longer have a video machine, it can easily take over your space and slowly start to feel overwhelming.

The ambience of a place reflects the people who live there. Surround yourself with things you love

Water

Nurture your work

Some habits work well and we continue to use them and some we work hard to leave behind. Histories can overwhelm us and hold us back from letting our inner fire spark. It can be scary to look at the past and to want to create changes. Even a calm stream can overflow when old rotten leaves and branches pile up, blocking the flow. Gently and with loving support we need to remove debris from time to time. Letting go little by little can create room for new ways.

Knowing your ways will support you

Metal

Let it shine

We may not even notice that we are surrounded by things we don’t really care for any more or that no longer supports, who we are. We may even still use a perfume we don’t really like any more, or wear a color or style of clothing that no longer suits us. Meanwhile our favorite jewelry or clothes is kept for that special day. Remember that this is never about fashion trends but about how your choices make you feel.

Let your home reflect who you are today - Feeling good about yourself and your home

Wood

Keep it growing

When our wood element is well balanced we have the capacity to use our strategic, thinking mind to create good habits and to hold on to them. Our past experience helps us navigate in the present and we are no longer afraid of letting go of things and stories in order to create room for new adventures.

As you become familiar with your own strategies, you will also have a stronger foundation for keeping new routines.

Holding on to good habits
